When the financial aspect begins to hit home, people will riot. Hell, they rioted over 24 hour loss of access to their SNAP cards. You don't think that once the government can't pay their bills - or real inflation hits 15% , they won't be burning shit?

That's a ways off most likely, and even then, I just don't see it. It's like the boiling frog analogy. By the time everyone is cooked, it'll be too late. They're taking us down nice and slow.

How do I think it turns out? We get taxed into poverty. We become more split on race relations. The country as a whole sinks further towards third world status. I guess that's the leftist utopia. The white devil must be punished. I really don't think they realize they're going down too. Every Marxist thought they would enjoy the fruits of the Kremlin. Most ended up in a bread line. They never learn.

100 years ago, for sure. 50 years ago, probably. Today? Doubtful. Much too pussified as a whole. It will need to get a whole lot worse before anyone is willing to take a bullet rather than live, even if it's on their knees.

I actually believe it will "kick off" with an "incident," and will grow at a pace similar to a CA wildfire. A mere 1/16% of our population could literally close America down.

This is where, once the money runs out, the lapse will begin. Someone savvy in the government, probably in the military will seize power if there is enough discontent.

Someone in the military taking power is most likely. Problem is, how do we know if they're a good or bad guy? I can imagine we'd find out fast, but can also imagine the nightmare of trying to remove that bad actor if he turned out to be a dud, or bad. The whole things a mess.

who would have thought illegal immigrants only go to America because of the welfare, and not for the freedoms, the opportunities, the chance at a better quality of life free from the shit in their own countries..
Here is a little thought - the UK has even more welfare, and strangely enough the immigrants are flooding there....mainly to work because they will do the jobs the locals who are on welfare dont want to do.
Maybe you should just do a 'people swap' - take an immigrant who wants to work, swap them with an American who does not.....problems solved.

What's the scope of illegal immigration in the UK in comparison to the US? Let's look, shall we?

UK:
Estimated between 310,000 and 570,000. Total UK population? 63.23 million - a little less than a percent at the high end of the estimate.

US:
Estimated 11.5 million illegals, total population 313.9 million, or about 3.6%.

Now I'm guessing that if you took the UK and set it down between Romania and Bulgaria, those UK stats would change quite a bit. Being land locked next to a third world country has a bit to do with it. So you can't really compare the UK and the US. At all.

There's a whole process that immigrants can go through in order to gain citizenship - the right way - that allows them to gain the opportunities, the chance of a better quality of life, etc. In fact, decades and decades ago, that's how it worked- before they got schooling, welfare, food stamps, medical care, housing, etc. And back then they contributed in the form of taxes.

Now, all we have is a population content to remain under the radar and not contribute a penny towards what they receive, with no intention of becoming legal. Why? Because they don't have to. Why sign up just for the right to pay taxes when you already get all the freebies as it is? Hell, if you want to vote, you probably could still do that!

What's the absolute worst that can happen to you? Catch and release? We're not going to deport you or anything, right?

As for swapping productive immigrants for lazy citizens, where can I vote on that program? It's a keeper.
