I think your English translator is failing you.
Sure.
I think your English translator is failing you.
The post you quoted was made over 1 year ago. Today, I know that my concerns were justified as I'm left with nothing and for all I know the developer I worked with may be continuing on his own.
Periodically, yes, but I still have a piker account.
The initial model was created 10 years ago and didn't have much value as I quickly saw the flaws and lacks when I started using it and testing with it. The final version that I have now was only completed a few years ago after various updates over the years.
Your attitude doesn't seem to be conducive to a collaboration. That's problem #1. Problem #2 is your obsession with your edge being stolen. You sound like a difficult client. The "programmer" may have been in over their head, but you really need to focus on what you brought to the table first.
I created dozens of applications in career, some freelancing. I never failed to deliver a working reliable system. If a project seemed impractical I'd turn it down after a short review.
Can you show what you brought to the table? You can make up the strategy I am curious how you gave requirements and logic of the system/strategy.Got to love how you and so many others are experts on something you know jack shit about.
I'm very clear about what I brought to the table. You're not, because you don't have the faintest clue about what I have. The programmer also received full disclosure and demonstration about what I brought to the table, so if he wasn't interested or didn't believe in it, he should have turned it down then.

I would share most anything with a programmer wife
Forget about that... LF will just say it's proprietary "crown jewel" type stuff and withhold. But you've hit the nail on the head. LF is trying to "talk the talk" but isn't "walking the walk".
LF, just show something, anything, in your history of over 12k posts that's remotely technical. A script, a function call, a formula, decent pseudo-code. Something that's helpful or novel or interesting or a little creative and all these people "throwing shade" will think twice.
Until then it's all hot air and no one will give you the benefit of the doubt.
nineender is a bozo.
