Why Are Tens Of Thousands of Homeless Still Sleeping on the Streets in LA despite spending Billions

Which part of the story about liberal politicians blowing billions for their own purposes and not using it to fix the problem do you fail to understand.

Again, where are the numbers? LA had a budget of 9 billion off which 140 million was earmarked for homelessness, where are you getting the billions? Are you confusing HUD federal aid run by Ben Carson as liberal politician money?

He (GWB) is just reacting as usual without checking, speaking without concern. I imagine he is mid 40s.. but in 20 years he will be the ULTIMATE grumpy old GOP.

Gotta keep them outraged and distracted, look over there at those liberals, never pay attention to how shitty our own states are!

Installing a conservative SCOTUS judge? No dems needed

Passing budget busting tax cuts? No dems needed

Passing a budget to fund basic government? DEMS FAULT! They caused the shutdown.

It's pathetic.

Don't worry when he fails to back up his assertions he will just do a well practiced slippery worm move (shamelessly re-frame etc), drop the whole thing and start a new thread.

He will be OK.

Guess you failed to read most of the information in the article and the linked articles about the billion bond issues.

Your report didn't say anything about cumulative spending, it talked about future billion dollar spending by issuing bonds. There is no evidence to say that LA has already spent billions.

Why don't we talk about the complete waste of tax payer money. As noted in the article "As much money as L.A. spends on homelessness, policymakers have no intention of providing enough homeless shelters to put a roof over homeless people’s heads."

It is a completely absurd, money-wasting program -- billions spent to not even provide a reasonable solution.

For the amount of money that has been spent on the program you could have rented each and every one of the 57,794 homeless in LA a starter condo -- or purchased them one if done via multi-unit acquisitions.
And you suck on the tit of the defense department establishment, masquerading as some sort of IT Consultant.

Poop map shows scale of San Francisco's human tragedy

It's common knowledge that San Francisco has a serious homelessness problem. Estimates of the size of the city's streetbound population vary between 6,000 and 10,000, depending on the source. But that population, largely confined to a few nonresidential downtown neighborhoods, can too easily become invisible to most residents.

One thing isn't invisible, however: the problem of human poop on sidewalks. Since the city slashed funding for Parks and Recreation in 2009, there's a distinct shortage of working public bathrooms. And that led to a spike in reports of public pooping to the city's 311 help line.

How much money have they spent? I didn't see any cumulative figures. Can you show me the math about your starter condo concept, surely if things were that simple, they would have been done already.
Look it up..

$25B to LA - almost half of California's $51.5B in state and local welfare expenditures.

LA is the crown jewel - America's poorest big city...
