I've forgotten. Who are the Republicans that pushed so hard for single payer and begged Obama and the Democrats to put it to a vote?

Perhaps if the Democrats or the "Great Uniter" himself would have reached across the aisle to try to come up with bipartisan legislation on healthcare, instead of ramming it down everyone's throats despite public opinion negative of it, all the backroom deals and corruption, etc.

Then the democrats (and your savior) wouldn't have had to own the turd from the get go.
