Agree, that was stupid. Just to be clear, though, are you now saying you expect Trump to enact martial law?
I don't think it was an outrageous thing to fear, not after what we have seen the last couple of weeks. Obama and the dems misjudged just how butthurt their supporters were and how crazy they now apparently are.
I am convinced most of the media and certainly a large percentage of dem voters would have supported Obama if he had declared the elections invalid due to Russian interference and ordered them to be reheld in six months or so, with him staying in power in the interim.
It's a standard move in the marxist banana republic dictatorships he seems to use as a role model. That and sending mobs out in the streets to intimidate your opponents, which the dems are now using as a basic tactic.
Yes it was. There was never an indication that martial law was going to happen, or that Obama was going to stay in for a third term, or whatever. The Democrats may have gone noisily into that good night, but they went just the same.
I wasn't worrying about the prospect, but I don't think it was totally out of the realm of possibility either. Now we have a precedent of the intell services, under the direction of their political leaders, trying to undermine the new president, and soros-funded thugs trying to disrupt the inauguration as Dc police protect them from street justice. So I worry a lot about where we are headed.
I haven't heard the media challenge a single democrat to disavow the violent riots.
None of that was in argument. But Obama imposing martial law was as likely as an asteroid impact (slight hyperbole, but not by much!)
