This is rich. Liberals are aghast that Trump might use federal authority to address civil rights violations in Chicago? See, when people can't go out in the neighborhoods without getting shot or are denied the protection of the law, with the seeming acquiescence of local authorities, that is a civil rights violation.
Chicago is corrupt to the core, and we cannot dismiss the idea that the democrat machine has been paid off to let gangs control a part of the city. How else to explain the situation? Can they really be that incompetent?

I don't think Trump was referring to a breach or suspension of Posse Comitatus when he wrote that, but I would be interested in understanding a little more of how he envisions solving that with "Feds" legally. What does that mean? Is he sending in the FBI's assistance or the army?
