Trump Makes First Big Mistake

at anyrate, Trump just lost the independent vote. Good for us libertarians. Poll shows 40% of bernie supporters will not support Hillary. Meanwhile, Johnson is holding steady at 10%. Pretty pathetic when the republican nominee has to pick a VP just to keep his own party calm. So much for widening the tent. Do republicans ever watch tv or listen to radio or even talk to anybody who is not just like them?
You make a good point. But the options for Trump were not there imo. By going with Pence he is doubling down on the conservative side, which in my opinion, must have been a very tough call to make. Christie seems too soft to truly represent any side, and would have not really tilted the balance in significant ways. Not going for a more centered political figure might have been costly, we will see. So far betting against Trump has been a losers game.

Can't wait for the debates. Trump is most likely going to crush Hillary.

80% of Bernie voters will vote for Hill.

This VP choice insures at least that.

In the debates Trump will look like the clueless buffoon that he is.
Hillary was seriously outclassed by Bernie in the debates. Highly doubt Trump can do worse than Bernie. We shall see.

There's not much to discuss because you're irrationally obtuse about free trade. That exploding trade deficits, a national debt, a decimated middle class and manufacturing sector, and a burgeoning Chinese super-power - built with our jobs - is of no concern to you, speaks to your economic illiteracy.

Yes, lets call on the government to protect us. That always works so well. Lets let Congress pass laws and increase the bureaucracy.

The only thing costing middle class Americans jobs is excess regulation and inference from the government. If Trump wants to increase jobs he should first start by reigning in the EPA and rolling back countless measures which they have taken which are meant to punish business and have nothing to do with the environment.

You are positing false alternatives. Leave that to Obama, it's his specialty.

Trump is not against trade. He's just saying it has to be fairer. A good start would be to ditch these multilateral pacts and negotiate bilateral deals with each country. That way we can use access to our market as leverage. You know, like the Chinese do to get unfair advantage now

I am just going off what the guy said. If Donald Trump wants to open his mouth about something he knows about, then look like a complete jackass, thats his problem. I dont think anyone has any ideas what his policies are, because he is always changing.

I can tell you an EPA story that ruined one of the most intelligent people, and his family.... that I have ever met.

Shut those fuckers down. That would solve 50% of our problems.

No she wasn't. Yes his shtick may have had more gut impact and sounded better, but her knowledge and experience showed through. There was actually very little separating them.

Complete and total nonsense.
