You make a good point. But the options for Trump were not there imo. By going with Pence he is doubling down on the conservative side, which in my opinion, must have been a very tough call to make. Christie seems too soft to truly represent any side, and would have not really tilted the balance in significant ways. Not going for a more centered political figure might have been costly, we will see. So far betting against Trump has been a losers game.at anyrate, Trump just lost the independent vote. Good for us libertarians. Poll shows 40% of bernie supporters will not support Hillary. Meanwhile, Johnson is holding steady at 10%. Pretty pathetic when the republican nominee has to pick a VP just to keep his own party calm. So much for widening the tent. Do republicans ever watch tv or listen to radio or even talk to anybody who is not just like them?
Can't wait for the debates. Trump is most likely going to crush Hillary.
