Surf, honestly my method doesn't use intuition, but clearly well defined, very objective strategies I could teach anyone within a decent amount of time (I think less than a month) to recognise (I got 6 context definitions, over 40 strategies that fit in within these 6 context descriptions). Finding this stuff myself took me forever though ... Being in the company of other good traders in a chatroom was a big psychological support though as I saw people actually making the good trades every day ...
I must admit I see strange things sometimes here on ET where people talk about using TA and doing something entirely else imo ...
 
and yes to your PS, options used to have a really great edge :D . I must admit I am not able to play that game anymore since a long time, pennyspreads ruined it for me ... a more mathematical kind of traders took over there with intermarket arbitrage ... I am not quite in that league ... but it was great while it lasted ...

we are holding longs here. It sucks having entered the trade early based on the Price Drivers but I remain confident of PHAT upside in the near future --

thanks, it took years of failure to become one :D
I can easily see why people give up on this and say it can't be done ... I was just stubborn and also kinda forced to really get this in the end due to healthproblems ... it somehow worked out well in the end ... the things I use can't be found in books though or anywhere on the internet, although I am using basic candlestickpatterns ... it's the context thing that's never being told about anywhere that's the trick to using candlesticks succesfully ...

hope you understand though I don't feel like giving the exact formula away (just like coca cola doens't see any good coming out of that ) ... it took me too many years to find it ...
Cornixforex is a kinder soul in that aspect as he is quite willing to share the exact way he trades and sees things ...

I find your ideas of similarity between drums, beat, DJ and the market very intriguing. My market mentor, Dr. Victor Niederhoffer, has done work with these correlations....

I have met & befriended several musicians on elite-- one second tier international DJ and an off the wall noise musician both stand out as being very interesting characters. surf
 
Ok, surfers, we came about 43 points from B/E so far today on the trade. I keep kicking myself for not waiting and jumping on the Price Driver signal immediately full force all in. Hopefully, I look back and laugh when this becomes the biggest trade of the new year. I am still expecting 1000 plus points on this one. surf
