You know with this statement you are accusing Obama of lying to go to war like Bush supposedly did with Iraq. True?
Putin may be a thug and a KGB killer, but he is a fucking man's man. He has to be filled with disgust and contempt at Obama, both because Obama is such a pussy and also because he has dissed Putin and Russia over this homo thing.
Like any good chess player, Putin watched and waited for Obama to overplay his position. Now he has Obama pinned, a chess term meaning he's screwed whatever he does. Obama has two basic options. One, a humiliating backdown that will empower his worst enemy domestically, the Tea Party groups. Two, proceed with an attack without international or congressional approval and watch his international stature sink below Bush's, create the risk of impeachment and now face the possibility that the Russians might do something, like maybe intercept those cruise missiles.

Perhaps he is being given faulty intelligence? The French think Assad was the only one who had the ability to use those chemical bombs.
I didn't vote for Obama but I think you underestimate the people that do the thinking for Obama and especially the military. Obama is only a puppet. Putin is a thug and a killer. I don't think that makes him a man's man unless you hate Obama or love Putin. Don't know what the "dissed Putin and Russia over the homo thing" means.

i doubt anyone you're arguing with in this thread does. the thing is russia ISN'T telling us what to do, putin has simply played the game better than obama (cause he's an idiot) and will come out looking like he backed down the US if we don't attack. or we can attack anyway to save face and risk escalation.. against a REAL military. think about how stupid that is especially considering this is over radical hajis killing other radical hajis.
