I have always thought you were a Republican on this board and a Bush backer. I guess I was wrong. But then, by time the Iraq war had been going on and on and on, everybody was tired of it. It had made no sense by then and everybody wanted us to get out.

I used to be. But the current GOP no longer represents my best interests or the interests of our once great nation for that matter.
I voted for only two (R)'s in 2010 and only one in 2012, Romney. Both of my Bush II votes were more against his opponent than for him.

My current intentions are to vote for anyone but a democrat or republican. From local positions all the way to the president.

I'm sick and tired of the very shit you're cheering for.

Russia is threatening us with whatever military backing of Syria they have planned (which we don't know what that is). The fact they are moving ships makes it look pretty serious. (Or they are bluffing to see what Obama will do).

I think Mother Russia would be stupid to fight us over a few missiles thrown at Syria. That would make them look aggressive and stupid. They would be the ones escalating things and the world would hate them 80x as much as they hate us. Would Russia risk this or not? I think not. They are not that stupid. Or are they?
