Like any good chess player, Putin watched and waited for Obama to overplay his position. Now he has Obama pinned, a chess term meaning he's screwed whatever he does. Obama has two basic options. One, a humiliating backdown that will empower his worst enemy domestically, the Tea Party groups. Two, proceed with an attack without international or congressional approval and watch his international stature sink below Bush's, create the risk of impeachment and now face the possibility that the Russians might do something, like maybe intercept those cruise missiles.

I used to be. But the current GOP no longer represents my best interests or the interests of our once great nation for that matter.
I voted for only two (R)'s in 2010 and only one in 2012, Romney. Both of my Bush II votes were more against his opponent than for him.

My current intentions are to vote for anyone but a democrat or republican. From local positions all the way to the president.

Interesting. I have an uncle who changes from Republican to Democrat to Libertarian just about every 4 years depending on the situation. Confuses the hell out of my mom. ha ha

I can't tell if the current GOP has changed even though I hear talk they should move to the left more so they can get more voters. Yuk.

I realize the Dems and Repubs have made things difficult to say the least. It's one constant battle between them.
