I think the NFL is coming up with alternative methods to allow players to protest - something along the lines of armbands, helmet emblems, or colorful cleats. Let them take the knee during the Anthem rather than trying to hide it. And let the players and the fans work it out on the playground. They each have rights. Along with the owners right to fire the players.

The players have organized and colluded as needed. Let the fans do that as well.

But don't start down the road of trying to play trickery with the fans. Some guy wants to take the knee in support of Chelsea Manning but instead he will just have a sticker on his helmet of a picture of Chelsea Manning. No. Not for me. And once you start down the road of announcing that players uniforms and actions will be a walking billboard for the injustice of the week then it will be one issue after another with no end in sight. Hillary takes a beating in the electoral college, yeh, lets see a halftime protest on that. Cut Bank, Montana refuses to replace the statue of Thomas Jefferson with one of Al Sharpton? Yeh, need a halftime protest on that too because the fans have paid to please the players not the fans.

Go for it. Right now people are raging back and forth because they care. In the long run the NFL's biggest woe will not be people vehemently disagreeing with them. It will be an entire genre of people just saying "do whatever you want, I don't watch that shit anyway, and half the guys beat their wives, do drugs, or eventually kill someone anyway so fuck-em."

She has lost two presidential runs, one at the primary level no less, and she was beaten by the candidate that the dems designated as the worst candidate in American history while designating her has the most qualified. Trump will not be running in 2020 either by choice. So there goes your theory that any candidate you come up with can beat trump.
