I am not taking any one person's word for anything. I am simply pointing out to you that findings from the most recent research on brain development show quite conclusively that brain development in infants and toddlers is strongly influenced by external stimuli. Nor am I suggesting that genetics is unimportant. I am merely stating current opinion which is that genetics, while important, plays a less dominate role -- a much less dominate role, as a matter of fact -- than was previously supposed.
