Where's their reasoned arguments all I see is personal attacks and essentially passing off others professional work as their own arguments.

Although Down's syndrome is not germane to the issue I raised, no one seriously questions the existence of genetically linked abnormalities.
I am not taking any one person's word for anything. I am simply pointing out to you that findings from the most recent research on brain development show quite conclusively that brain development in infants and toddlers is strongly influenced by external stimuli. Nor am I suggesting that genetics is unimportant. I am merely stating current opinion which is that genetics, while important, plays a less dominate role -- a much less dominate role, as a matter of fact -- than was previously supposed.

We now agreed that i excluded those who criticize others for constructive purposes and thus i am talking about those who criticize others and put them down for other reasons. Each person wants to feel successful or worthy in a way or another, that's a part of human nature.
Some people do that by striving for success while some people do it by standing still and putting others down!! In the Solid Self confidence program i said that some people criticize others and put them down just to feel worthy and successful.
According to the person's point of view, if i put everyone down then i will be the only one remaining who is worthy.
This usually happens out of a jealousy and inferiority feelings. It happened to me more than once that friends who were not close to me tried to put me or down or to prove to me that i achieved no success in life. Of course they never do it directly but you can easily guess it from the questions they ask you.
"So Farouk, don't you think you wasted your life blogging without doing something useful?"
That's the type of question you get from a jealous person who feels worthless deep inside and who wants to put you down in order to steal a quick victory."

1) Heritability is a strawman and red herring all rolled into one.
I've only established the fact the gap/exists in the first place.
mr ned doesn't dispute this at all.
He's attempting to attack the WHY, as supposedly evidence to dispel the "fact" of the underlying observation.
Providing a rationale for how the elephant in the room didn't come from Africa doesn't really dispel the fact that there's a fricken elephant in the room!
I call this academic sleight of hand, it only works on the stupid and the ones who wish to be mislead for one reason or another.

See how easy it is to use something besides put downs? And, yes, I cut out the rest of your stuff to make it look more appropriate. And, yes, I'm just having fun now.
But, I do see progress, and I do think you're capable of getting past the put down phase of your life. There may be many genetic defects in all humans, but most don't feel the need to continue to point them out ad nauseum. And you're doing better PT! Keep it up. Still having fun with you.
