A 527 organization or 527 group is a type of U.S. tax-exempt organization organized under Section 527 of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code (26 U.S.C.§ 527). So you believe that hacking the election is the same thing as hacking McDonalds?

The purpose of the private entities is different.

Yeah, still private. There is no difference between an entity hacking this website or hacking the DNC. Same thing. So, the FBI should pay just as much attention to and use exact same protocol if this website or the DNC because there is no difference because they are both private.

I mean hacking the DNC and the NYT is same thing because they are both located on the East Coast.

None of that changes the fact that DNC is a private organization - there was hacking into PRIVATE companies who provide software related to the election process, just because they were hacked doesn't make them not private. Private parties still have a say on how their data is accessed and obviously the DNC didn't trust the leaky FBI
 
During a question-and-answer session with Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR), Comey was asked if he believed the president was involved in collusion with Russia regarding hacking the election.

“That’s a question I don’t think I should answer in an open setting,” the ex-FBI chief noted. “When I left, we did not have an investigation focused on President Trump. But that’s a question that will be answered by the investigation, I think.”
