I fail to see how downloading malware that is readily available on the internet is sophisticated. Furthermore, as John McAfee stated, if Russia left footprints in the hack, it wasn't the Russians.

The FBI at a minimum should have another 3rd party security firm analyze the servers and to make its own conclusion.

They didn't in the case of NYT, why is the DNC case special to change protocol?
