here we go again
if you want your child to be an employee, send them to college
they take young entrepreneurs and teach them how to become employees
and when they can't get jobs it's the governmennt's fault
for crying out loud, it's no longer for the fed to monitor money supply and watch out for inflation, now they have to get my kid a job
the elites in the University don't understand business, the only way they know to make money is get a job or take it from business owner
Typical Das Kapital
They know what to do with it after it has been made, but they don't know how to make it
Macy's made the news this week on better than expected earnings
He started with a wheelbarrow on the sidewalk

Therefore communism does not exist in 2013.
I dont know if any country where there is pure communism. Cuba would be the closest.
Many people on here hate the system that is common in most countries in western europe, however if any of these traders here actually lived in any country in Western Europe, they would have a lot more of their profits in their account at the end of the year. Plus they would pay about 100 bucks a month for great health care insurance, and their kids would be able to attend some of the best universities in the world for about the cost of 1 days work scalping the NQ.

Not sure about the UK, in most of EU, people at least get half decent insurance even if they are broke. The 100bucks a head part is usually not true as many (all ?) EU governments impose to their residents a small number of policies, which cost is largely dependent on one's income. I get cheaper and I feel better insurance as an expat overseas than in my country of origin for instance. If one is unemployed it should be the contrary.

that is wonderful. than because of governmemt mishandling of the economy you are forced to leave your country in order to survive or perhaps you didn't read the articles posted on this thread.
Southern europe is in a league of its own in Western Europe in matter of economic crisis, I'd agree with the poster you quoted that overall life is far from horrible in western europe. Madrid is still one of my favourite cities although the situation seem uglier than it was 5 years ago for a whole bunch of spaniards. One needs to remember it was ruled by Franco until 1975 and closer to the thirld world than to northern europe at his death - according to what I'm told at least.
Education in continental Europe is definetaly much more affordable than in the US and apparently also the UK
"if the US congress had any sense they would welcome these well educated people to immigrate to the US. "
Indeed, it seems that Canada is adopting more sensible immigration policies than the US

A big variety of systems is great.
If you prefer one to another then live there. If they will let you in.
Language can be a bit of a problem though.
So this is a good argument to let people choose where to live. But what to do with the hordes of people fleeing civil wars etc. ? Now that is a major problem.
