How is that Wall coming along?

Actually those aren't issues that interest me much, so I can't give you a very informed opinion. I am aware of course that the Clinton's Foundation accepted foreign contribution. Legal of course, and I would think a good idea, a nice idea in fact!, unless your name is Clinton and you're planning to run for President . :D

Your questions re any direct link between Trump and Putin's government and hacking I guess will just have to wait while we sit on pins and needles. I'd be shocked if there was any thing linking the two directly. But who knows. I wouldn't be nearly as shocked however to learn that perhaps one or two in Trumps entourage knew of the hacking and didn't say "stop it." The most puzzling connection is manafort ,who was a paid lobbyist, earlier, for a Russian Aluminum Oligarch who is reportedly very close to Putin. Manafort offered to direct Trump's campaign for nothing. Whoa now! Is that about the time Trump started singing the praises of Vladimir. Maybe Trump was one of Manafort's marks. If so, I'd say Manafort's good! Maybe worth 10 million a year. I'd hire him, but he'd have to agree to work for less.

Manafort might be in pretty big trouble if he didn't have Trump in the White House. Manafort was supposed to register as a foreign agent. He didn't. Or so were told.

Extremely insightful and to your point.

I'm getting sick of your Russophobic talk. Why do you demonize an entire group of people like this? Is it possible that you are racist? I don't want to believe it. You are not racist and you are not Russophobic....I really wish that I could believe that.

Even if that is true did Trump seek this assistance out from Russia? Hillary aggressively sought foreign donors (Saudi Arabia) in exchange for influence and favors. You are silent on that yet it is Trump's fault if some hacker named FuzzyNuts in Russia hacks the DNC? That article is still not definitive proof of any wrong doing by Russia. Why are you so Russophobic anyways?

QUOTE]

I never said it was Trump's fault that the democrats got hacked. I just said the evidence points to Russian's doing it. Somehow you took offense to that.

Let me apologize if I wrote anything that even suggested I held a dim view of the Russian people, let alone demonized them. Russia is one of the great countries of the world, and it is certainly in the best interests of the U.S. to try and maintain cordial relations.

It is common knowledge in the West that Putin has financial resources well beyond what his official salary would provide. He is rumored to be a multi-billionaire. If it is true, then I do hope he came by that fortune honestly. I would guess it is rather hard to make that much money as a government employee without being quite exceptional at investing. In fact, considering how busy he must be with matters not financial, it seems quite amazing.

Does it seem to you that among his political rivals and detractors there is an unusually high death rate from accidents? I just have to wonder how it is that someone could accidentally ingest polonium. (I'm not sure you can get that from your local drug store.) Those that oppose him, the ones not having accidents, seem to be constantly breaking the law and ending up in prison. Perhaps just coincidence. This will be unwelcome news to you, I'm sure, but I must tell you that there are those who think he is just a cold blooded assassin. He's been, nevertheless, quite popular at home.

I am warning you, I'm going to tell Futurecurrents all about this.

This would be extremely troublesome if Hillary were president. But she's not. Corruption and foreign influence is bad regardless who sits in the Oval Office.

Classic russo-shill tactic
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whataboutism

Whataboutism is a term describing a propaganda technique used by the Soviet Union in its dealings with the Western world during the Cold War. When criticisms were levelled at the Soviet Union, the response would be "What about..." followed by the naming of an event in the Western world.[1][2]It represents a case of tu quoque (appeal to hypocrisy),[3] a logical fallacythat attempts to discredit the opponent's position by asserting the opponent's failure to act consistently in accordance with that position, without directly refuting or disproving the opponent's initial argument.

The term describing the technique was coined in 2008 by Edward Lucas in an article for The Economist. Lucas said that this tactic is observed in the politics of modern Russia, along with this being evidence of a resurgence of Cold War and Soviet-era mentality within Russia's leadership.[1]
