How is that Wall coming along?

Hillary embarrassed herself without hacked emails being released. What forces caused the Access Hollywood audio to be released against Trump? Soros perhaps? You are only angry at the Russians because it did not benefit your side. You turned a blind eye to the corruption of The Clinton Foundation as well as their foreign donors who sought influence. Yet the only foreign influence you seemed to be concerned with is the Russians....so obvious.

I never mentioned the Clinton Foundation.
What does Access Hollywood have to do with Hillary's stupid comment?

Are you saying that the Russians should have hacked our election machines because Hillary said something stupid? Should Donald Trump be impeached because a porn star accused him of sexual harassment?

Since you are putting words in my mouth, I will put words in yours: you are all over the place in your arguments and thoughts. You are grabbing at random phrases and ideas to try to make a coherent argument. Maybe you are a sockpuppet like on the last season of Homeland.

Why would anyone , other than an extremely naive person, be surprised to learn that Russians attempted to influence the U.S. election outcome considering the well documented, long history of U.S. interference in elections world-wide?
So I guess you were well aware of the direct foreign influence that many purchased via The Clinton Foundation yet you voted for Hillary anyways. Hillary sought foreign donors, did Trump? Did Trump ask Putin to have the DNC's emails hacked? Hillary wanted money while Trump is an indirect beneficiary of a foreign nation (Russia) hacking a poorly defended server. Who looks worse here, Trump or Hillary?

Must I run through every media event and provide you with background info on everything? You mean to tell me you have never heard Trump's "grab them by the pussy" comment? We are discussing embarrassing content and how that information became publicly available, correct?

That's a fairly easy question for me to answer, but only with respect to myself. I am not a member of the Democratic party. Even were I , I couldn't speak for others.

I am concerned about undocumented immigration! I think that welcoming people from other countries that want to come here legally, abide by our laws, and become part of our American social fabric is a very healthy thing for our nation. I hope we will make it very clear to all immigrants that they are free to practice their own religion so long as their beliefs do not conflict with our laws, and that only majority religious beliefs are likely to find support in the law, even though we pay lip service to the principle of separation of Church and State. The question whether adherents to particular sects or sub-religions are compatible with U.S. law, is I think, best left to the Courts and Majority rule. If it's determined that a persons religious beliefs are incompatible with U.S. law, then I would think it a bad idea to welcome that person as an immigrant to the United States. That's not something for the President to decide however. It is for the Courts and the Congress as our 'democratic' representatives.

I would like to see future illegal immigration reduced as close to zero as reasonably possible! I am also aware that under the Obama administration there was a crackdown on illegal immigrants , deportations were greatly stepped up. At the same time, the number of illegal border crossing slowed to a trickle long before the election. Listening to Trump, one would have thought that vast hordes of illegal immigrants are streaming across our southern border. This is simply not the case. Almost all those here illegally came her legally and then overstayed their Visas. (It's fact versus alternative facts and disinformation. Mr Trump is an unstoppable font of the latter.)

The Obama administration used a laser rather than a trawler net. What the Obama administration did, and I am very much in favor of their practical approach to the problem, is to grant clemency to those who came here as children with their families, provided there is no record of serious law breaking or gang memberships. In the future, the problem of illegal immigration is best addressed by implementing ways to track those here on Visa and make sure they leave when they are supposed to.

I believe that the only solutions to the illegal immigration problem that will work well are those that recognize that clocks only turn one direction. *

Many believe their jobs were stolen by illegal immigrants. This is true to a far smaller extent than often believed. Most jobs are lost because of changing technology and offshoring to lower cost labor elsewhere. These jobs will not return even if we deported 100% of every illegal immigrant tomorrow. Trump's campaign rhetoric was the classical rhetoric of a demagogue; a fear stoking campaign. The demagogue lied to us.

Attempts by Russian hackers to interfere in the U.S. and European elections is an established fact, just as the long history of U.S. meddling in other countries elections is established fact. If you insist on referring to such attempts as a Grand Conspiracy that's OK with me. I usually don't think of something that has become rather mundane, common knowledge as being much of a conspiracy, but I can see that some may want to call it that. The FBI has already made a definitive statement on this matter which can be looked up if you are interested. Apparently their current investigation is on-going. Why would anyone , other than an extremely naive person, be surprised to learn that Russians attempted to influence the U.S. election outcome considering the well documented, long history of U.S. interference in elections world-wide?

*"No matter how far you've gone down the wrong road turn back," has more than one interpretation. The road in this saying is metaphorical! The wrong road in this case is a wrong policy!, viz., the policy of not enforcing U.S. immigration law because business and agriculture preferred low-wage immigrant labor without legal recourse to higher- wage citizen labor with legal recourse. Holding down labor's wage is the time honored goal of good capitalists everywhere; competition for jobs, whether from machines or from eager immigrants, is always welcome.

You might be the best writer on this site.

We were specifically discussing how the Russians tried to influence the election by hacking emails and by putting in agents into Trump's campaign (and possibly influencing Trump through his business loans - though that hasn't been verified).

Nowhere were we talking about the random stupid things people said or leaks done by disgruntled people. A lot of which happened on both sides.

Finally, I knew you would slip up. What proof do you have that it was the Russian Government that hacked the DNC? Could it have possibly been a disgruntled DNC staffer who went to wiki leaks? When I show you equally embarrassing content against Trump you automatically attribute it to "disgruntled people". You have no proof that it was the Russian Government.

Even if that is true did Trump seek this assistance out from Russia? Hillary aggressively sought foreign donors (Saudi Arabia) in exchange for influence and favors. You are silent on that yet it is Trump's fault if some hacker named FuzzyNuts in Russia hacks the DNC? That article is still not definitive proof of any wrong doing by Russia. Why are you so Russophobic anyways?

Actually those aren't issues that interest me much, so I can't give you a very informed opinion. I am aware of course that the Clinton's Foundation accepted foreign contributions. I assume they actively sought them. That's what charitable Foundations do of course. Legal of course, and I would think a good idea, a nice idea in fact!, unless your name is Clinton and you're planning to run for President . :D I hope that sheik in the picture was at least going to get a night in the Lincoln bedroom if Hillary had won.

Your questions re any direct link between Trump and Putin's government and hacking I guess will just have to wait while we sit on pins and needles. I'd be shocked if there was any thing linking the two directly. But who knows. I wouldn't be nearly as shocked however to learn that perhaps one or two in Trumps entourage knew of the hacking and didn't say "stop it." The most puzzling connection is manafort ,who was a paid lobbyist, earlier, for a Russian Aluminum Oligarch who is reportedly very close to Putin. Manafort offered to direct Trump's campaign for nothing. Whoa now! Is that about the time Trump started singing the praises of Vladimir. Maybe Trump was one of Manafort's marks. If so, I'd say Manafort's good! Maybe worth 10 million a year. I'd hire him, but he'd have to agree to work for less.

Manafort might be in pretty big trouble if he didn't have Trump in the White House. Manafort was supposed to register as a foreign agent. He didn't. Or so were told.
