What are we going to build? A WALL.

Who is going to pay for it? MEXICO.

Not only did Trump not get Mexico to pay for it, he is having trouble getting Congress to pay for it.

Trump is truly delusional if he thinks he can get reelected without building a wall. I don't care if Mexico pays for it or if the USA pays for it, I just need to see a wall.

A wall should be visible in the areas where illegal border crossings are the highest. I don't expect a true wall in the rough terrain areas but a fence or increased security should be done there. The wall to me is a symbol so it should be built for that reason as well.

You have been against Trump the entire time wildchild and maybe you will have the last laugh. Maybe Trump will turn out to be a total piece of shit that does not deliver on his main campaign promises. He is a guaranteed one term president if that happens.

Anytime you feel like getting pissed off at Trump just be thankful that Hillary did not get elected. She would be flooding America with Islamic Refugees and calling people racist every single day if they question any immigration policy. It would be a nightmare of a different kind.

We'll see a wall, kind of. It'll be mostly the invisible fence keep your dog in the yard kind of wall and the American taxpayers will front the money. Trump will say Mexico is paying for it in the long run through all of the "savings" we get not having to process all those illegals that the wall is keeping at bay. Classic Trump deal.
 
Hard to believe Trump would cuck out so quickly. He has to know if he doesn't get money for the wall now, he will never get it. Democrats will never agree, and they know that most republicans want open borders too so there is no danger of a real fight.

Trump needs to make this a defining issue and go over congress' head to voters on it.

No wall, no reelection. That's how simple it is. And no amount of blaming dems or congress will cut it.
 
I can see the plan right now. They're going to wait and stick funding for the wall in the budget right before the next pres election and do it in a way that it won't go into effect until after the election and they can claw it back and never do it.

On to their old tricks.
 
I saw a tweet from David Horowitz this morning to the effect that it was amazing how quickly reps folded on budget even though they control presidency plus both houses of congress.

When Obama was president, we got all kinds of excuses from them about how they couldn't risk a government shutdown so they had to go along with Obama. Now they say Trump has to go along with dems or be blamed for a government shutdown.

To them the only important issues are tax cuts for billionaires and more money for defense contractors.

Apparently that's not true. In fact we now have a very good indication that a person doesn't need to know anything at all to become President. And they don't even have to be mentally stable. They just have to be good at playing to low information voters' prejudices and telling them whatever it is they want to hear. Things like,"My favorite book is the Bible," "lock her up," and "we're going to replace Obama care with something fantastic!", "bomb the shit out of terrorists," and build a big beautiful wall and get Mexico to pay for it:D

What we are learning now is what happens when you have someone with a very serious personality disorder in the Oval Office. Break out the cotton candy. Ringling Bros., Barnum and Bailey is on Pennsylvania Avenue.

Exactly, making fun of Democrats and blaming them will not cut it. Everyone knows that the Dems are opposed to a wall and that will never change. Trump is stupid if he thinks that excuse will work. The apathy from traditional Republicans on this issue equally sucks. Maybe both parties are equally useless?

The alternative wasn't very good. Hillary right about now would be telling us how all white males are evil on a daily basis and that we must allow an endless steam of Islamic Refugees to be here or we are racist. Never mind the part where Hillary called Black People "super predators" or that her mentor (Robert Byrd) was a member of the KKK. You don't appear to be a "low information" voter piezoe so tell me how information like that strikes you? I guess Trump wanting a Wall ranks higher on your racism chart than anything Bill or Hillary ever did?

Want to have a peak at what our future would have been like with Hillary? Take a look at modern day France where their leading presidential candidate Marcon said that terrorism will be "part of our daily life for years to come". Let the flood gates stay open rather than risk being "racist". Who gives a shit about quality of life, it is all about not appearing to be racist.

I can't figure out which is worse, Trump and Republicans continued inactivity and "do-nothingness" or Democrats and their tired old playbook of identity politics?
