I wouldn't call it a birther fight. Logically, it's possible Obama could have been born in the US, and to have presented a fraudulent certificate. Arapaio proved it was fraudulent only. Did not prove where, or where not he was born. Because it is fraudulent, it increases the probability he was born offshore in a way that made him inelligible. But there are ways to be born offshore and still be eligible, as in the case of McStain.
Trump never said the certificate was not a fraud. He merely stated something he probably can't know (where Obama was born) just before an election.
What's at stake, in 2018, is your own credibility, based on how you are framing Arapio's (Joes) work, his reputation, his status, and every other element related, such as Hawwaii''s complicity in a coverup. Hawaii never had a credible come back to Joes work, contrary to your statement.

A fraudulent certificate simply increases the odds he is/was not elligable in any way, at any time.
Reasons for a fraudulent certificate could include a completely other father, mother, or place of birth, which does not align with the official narrative thus far.
Still, he might have been eligible somehow, had he not gotten involved with the presentation of fraudulent documents. Possibly that alone makes him inelligible at some point.
