The Pro-life movement is not about political power. It is a morality issue..
The objective is to save babies lives or have less destroyed.
If they were successful they would save 300,000 African American babies each year (90% would eventually vote Democratic)
The moral case has been successful
The increased availability and use of contraception has been successful. People trying to impose their morals on others creates conflict and oppression.
The decades long decline of abortions in America should be very instructive to right wingers. Preaching and punishment is not a substitute for addressing the root causes of issues.

I don’t know that promiscuousness increased with access to abortion. Roe was like 1974(?) and “free love” was 1969 and before that is not like as a society we were actually chaste. Besides women have been having abortions for literally thousands of years throughout the world, no matter religion etc.
The nuclear family is certainly braking down. Divorce rates are 50% but married women have abortions too.
Your home is your temple in my mind so whatever your religion or moral system is it’s really none of my business, or yours truthfully. I was with a large group not too long ago and found out my children were the only ones baptized out of 8 families. That sort of made my brain jerk a bit - and I was the only Biden voter in the group.
Again, none of our business though. Not someone’s healthcare and not someone’s moral beliefs. You should be worried about people’s right to not have other people’s morals pushed onto them in America. You’re worried about a less religious society and I’m worried about a more religious imposition on society.

I remain surprised that in this information age we still have mental midgets calling early term fetuses "babies". Or believing that all pregnancies can be prevented with contraception and good intentions. None of these guys could ever get through medical school or apparently understand women's rights. These are the kind of guys who speak in absolutes until the day THEY get impacted by something. And even then some just sweep it under the rug; hide what occurred to them. Grown adults who may even shun their own kids if they get pregnant, come out as gay, or refuse to follow their own rigid belief system.
I wouldn't trust "Fortune Teller" to make me a hamburger or paint my house never mind make important moral or medical decisions effecting a ton of people in society. We need to remember to tell these morons to fuck off. Especially if they somehow slither into some position of influence in society.
