WTF happened to the block function?

He puts an annoying user on his block list so that person can't see his posts and he can't see theirs. Ok, fine no problem.

But then whenever destriero wants to talk shit about that user, what he does is take that user off his block list for a few seconds so he can submit an insulting reply. As soon as he submits the post, he puts the user right back on his block list so the user can't actually see what's been posted. So this misuse of the block system enables him to talk shit about people without them being able to read his posts, and most importantly, it prevents them from having the ability to respond since they are blocked.

The problem of course is that people eventually find out through the grapevine that they are being insulted, and then the insulted user complains to Magna or myself that he can't read what Destriero is posting about him, and if he is able to read what Destriero posted somehow (by hearing about it from another member or by logging out and reading as an unregistered user), he can't even post a response back since he's on Destriero's block list.

This game playing with the block feature is unacceptable. Period. And it's a huge waste of my time dealing with complaints from users about this same issue over and over, and over again.

I have that guy Bugenhagen on "block all posts" ... but he obviously has multiple ID's here, as I have seen him quote my posts before. The only way someone can do this is to log in under another alias, hit reply, copy the text, log off, log back on under the original account, and hit paste... followed by whatever they want to say.

He's the only person here I have had on hard block for years... and those include his other accounts like Startfartiblast or whatever it was. And there was one prior to that.

Trust me... this dude is one of these idiot-savant, hi-iq psychopaths. He lives down in politics where a small cadre of posters feed him likes. But the fact remains he is in violation of ET's TOS and he should be permanently banned. The f'rs weird. Bigtime. There's something there. 1000% sure.

In reality, I could care less... but I just thought I would throw that in.

Theres a glitch in the Block function where you can see a person's Post, albeit it blank, even if that person has you on Block. I've noticed it, but The Great @Overnight can explain it better.

(Shouldn't you be writing Scripts for Ken Goes To Vegas. He's providing some great material recently.)


I can understand Dest's frustration, it'd piss me off too, particularly as this is how Dest earns a Living. But I guess @Baron is caught between a Rock and a Hardcase.

It's not possible.
A clear TOS violation of the multiple accounts rule.
I have never once taken this dude off of "super-block".

If there's a way around it, see if you can do it.
