WTF happened to the block function?

Unfortunately, that's a belief that Facebook originally thought would elevate internet participants to a new level of consciousness and respect for one another. But what we've learned over the years from Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn is that verified people are often STILL blockable assholes just like the anonymous ones. In fact, many of them get a great deal of satisfaction in fulfilling that role in society and are only too happy to provide their identity information and pay a membership fee for the ability to continue being their abrasive selves.

Joking aside, I would never pay to post here due to the trolling of members that is allowed even after the members report such and then publicly complain about such (I am not talking about the Political threads) while the trolls are on block/ignore because Baron can not or not able to fix a few well-known glitches with the "last message post" in threads.
- Heck, the glitch is not even acknowledged.
Seriously, paying to post in the Political/Chit Chat threads here at ET...not going to happen especially with a few of those trolls are known racists here at ET that have dragged their racist garbage from the Political/Chit Chat threads on a few occasions into the trading related threads.

Make that 1 year block before you have option to remove (better think twice before you pull that trigger). And can't post in each other's journal threads. This is the fix!

I have since learned to just ignore visually that "last message post" from my enlightening encounters with YouKnowWho. We are traders. We have the discipline to do that. The only thing that trolls want is for you to respond to their messages. That's why they make their message as nasty as possible. That's their whole purpose. Fight it, @wrbtrader, fight it!! Don't let them win!

Things were not always peaches and cream so kindly hear me out. Many EONs ago I got invited to meet with the biggest traders at a killer brokerage in a all inclusive Resort. There was a guy swinging around $XX million when that was a lot of cash. He yelled and screamed at the reps online, guest service people and everyone around him that got in his way. Most of the people ignored him, a senior management broker told me “Pick his brain, try to make friends because it will be your gain! We went fishing and shooting and he was a different person! So enjoyable and someone you wanted to know. He shared his knowledge about two MM firms and fund he worked-was working at. Free ten years worth of training because I made friends with a dragon! If I had got offended and ignored him, my loss bigly!
