World Leaders Producing 300,000 Tons of Carbon By Traveling To Climate Summit In Paris

Well on one side we have your inexpert uninformed opinion, and on the other the opinions of experts. Gee, which should we believe?
Yes, mine is just an opinion, and I'm no expert. However, my opinion is based upon what is actually happening with regard to the so called imminent threat we keep hearing about. When I hear the end is near coming out of one side of the presidents mouth and then telling us that China will eventually get onboard 15 years from now, well, lets just say I ain't buying the immediacy of it all. We're going to cut our emissions by 20% while China increase theirs 100 fold, and they're the largest polluter. At that rate, even if they hold to their promise to start cutting in 2030, it'll be a century before they are where we are right now. This doesn't even address Russia, India and Brazil spewing all their pollution. Add it all up and anything we do, on top of all we have already done, and have been doing for decades, doesn't offset what the rest of the world is doing, or in this case, isn't doing.

I realized after I posted that that your mention of man made mercury was likely facetious.
So backing up a bit, we had previously discussed how adding a CO2 atmosphere to, say, our moon, would both warm the dark side and cool the light side, correct?

"Mommy, Billy is not eating his vegetables, why should I?"

childish.

Besides the the rest of the world is getting on board and accepts the science. It is a special problem that the US has with science denying moron conservatives.

Indeed. Hopefully it influences jem's thinking on the subject.
