Never mind that the United States stands head and shoulders above all other nations in addressing emissions. Completely ignore the half stepping, half assed effort that the rest of the world makes, assuming they make any effort at all. There's always an excuse for them, isn't there? Invariably some reason they just can't comply. But no such reasoning applies to the U.S. Nope! More, more, and still more must be done. It's never enough and it's all our fault anyway. That sounds reasonable. The moon's day length is 27 Earth days long, A little over 13 Earth days of daylight followed by a little over thirteen Earth days of night -- I think, maybe, more or less. I've never been there actually. we should consult an astronomer. I would guess that introducing a dilute CO2 atmosphere of a few hundred ppm would make the mean temperature during the moon's day a little cooler, and the mean temperature during the moon's night a little warmer. What would you think? I wouldn't expect much of an effect though from that little amount of CO2. I Imagine it would still be roasting hot in the day and bitter cold at night. I think the swing without an atmosphere is like +-250 deg C. With a dilute CO2 atmosphere the swing should be reduced a bit, I would think.
