I was referring to the many decades preceding DEI, where the white guy pretty much always has the edge, all else being equal and sometimes not even close.This simply does not happen at any scale, because DEI programs by definition exist to promote underperforming minorities into positions they wouldn’t otherwise attain.
I’m not commenting on the legitimacy of the current initiative, which is the subject of another debate. But it only follows that an action, especially if unfair and prolonged, eventually leads to a reaction. And here we are.
