The sheer irony is Ukraine and Russia are closer to ending this war but, only if cooler heads prevail. Prolonging the war only will lead to more Ukrainians being slaughtered needlessly. Their lives are certainly, worth much more than continuously fighting and piling up the body bags. Zelensky needs to come to the negotiating table, he is not going to end this war and get the Russians out if he does not. Macron and Scholz has been talking to Putin, now they need Biden and Johnson to talk to Zelensky.

Of course, all the pro-Putin clowns are now showing up with the Kremlin's promoted message that Zelensky needs to sue for peace to stop the slaughter of his people.
So tell us what type of message does this send to every aggressive dictator on the face of the earth -- that the victim should meekly give in. Should we say the same for the victim of every crime in the U.S. as well. If you are a victim of a violent home invasion should should meekly give in and not defend yourself with guns because some other family members in the house may get hurt or die. Same with rape. Same with mugging.
Well Zelensky already gave an answer to this Russian nonsense -- he told them to f@ck off.

Nobody knows how exhausted Russian's are. One thing for sure, Ukrainian's - aren't.
Each innocent civilian loss, is another drop of anger, against Russians, in the eyes of global community.
Every loss of child, is another 100 troops to that international legion of Ukraine. While Russians, can barely find capable mercenaries. Anywhere.
Ukraine is defending itself , - why da hell it should surrender ?
Where's the logic in that.
To bow, to kneel, once again, like always, against Russians, in order to save few lives ?
Peace negotiations ? Absolutely reasonable.
#1. Russian forces leave the land of Ukraine. (keep the damn regions from 2014)
#2. Fully repaid all damage for destroyed infrastructure and lives lost.

The problem is the Russians are fighting a war of attrition. They destroyed the cities of Grozny and Aleppo into rubble. Kyiv has how many people left? 2 million including, women and children? Can you imagine if the Russians fired even just 50 cruise missiles at Kyiv? That could happen and Ukrainian troops cannot stop those incoming cruise missiles. Casualties? It could easily be in the tens of thousands or maybe, even more. You saw how they destroyed that military base with just 30 cruise missiles? Putin will not hesitate to level Kyiv. If he needs to fire 200 cruise missiles, he will do so, to make Zelensky and Ukraine to surrender. How many Ukrainians will needlessly, die then? It will be a huge massacre.
Then, Putin, will easily open the competition for the first genocide of this decade/century {Edit} in Europe.
