Why Fat is the Preferred Fuel for Human Metabolism

Yes, it is nutritionally-dense, but packed with sugar. Excluding the vitamins and minerals and you just ate 3 Snickers bars. I realize the comparison seems like a stretch, but that's an assault on your pancreas.
I am certainly no expert, and 700-calorie smoothies aside, my understanding is that naturally-occurring fructose is effectively quite distinct from refined sugars:

Talking about scientific evidence, how do we know which one is really true? There must have been some s.e. to support the production of statins /cholesterol lowering drugs/ and I came across some research which denied their usage. I thought Americans were pragmatic - if NoDoji cured herself of cancer through a diet , wouldn't that be a proof her diet works??
I mean at some point you HAVE TO trust somebody as it's impossible to do all the research by yourself :)

Ask any diabetic about eating an orange after their insulin shot. I am not going to go into carbohydrate-metabolism here as it's too complex fot this thread.

No, I just ate two apples (organic pink ladies). I don't find 400+ calories of fructose to be something you would want to make a daily or even weekly habit. I realize there are beneficial V/Ms, fiber and essential aminos in the smoothie, but it's massively weighted to simple carbs.

It's not nutrient dense if the kcal is overwhelmingly monosaccharides.

I am not going to doubt her recovery. It's very unlikely to see an encapsulation of a ductal (especially ER) infiltrating malignancy. If it wasn't removed surgically then it's a remarkable recovery.

Regardless, it is a good health strategy to avoid sugar as much as possible. Fruits are ok.

Fruit is not as "ok" as you think they are. That "700 cal smoothie" is rough on the body.

My comments about "veganism" are in general only; I have no opinion or comment about anyone's health or medical condition.
 
I eat a variety of lean meats (little of which is "free range"), fish (farmed & wild), organ meats, eggs, bone broths, fruits, vegetables, tubers; I can't see why anyone would even begin to think that such a diet would be in any way deficient in anything, or harmful in any way. I can't name one nutrient that isn't available in a diet composed of such foods. Unlike the vegan or strict vegetarian proven deficient in B12, selenium, D, K2 and several essential AA's, and others. i have no acute or chronic health problems, I am lean & I feel great.
