Who do you want to win the war?

Quote from alfonso:

"I'm afraid" is a figure of speech, Optional. I'm not actually fearful (nor ashamed), I just prefer not to state where I live.

I'm not sure what you were attempting to imply by the German immigrants comment, but I can assure you that the chances of YOU being a German immigrant (why the italics?), given that you live in the United States, are far higher than mine.

This all beside the point, anyway.
If you want to play these pre-teen games, find someone else.

My nationality and where I live have no bearing at all on my opinions on this matter. (As much as you might like to believe otherwise.)

Could you tell us why you prefer not to divulge where you live? Such mystery from one who only seeks full disclosure.

I am not asking where specifically, but what country.

p.s. my chances of being descended from German immigrants post WWII is not very high actually.

Quote from MondoTrader:

MSFE THINKS SADAMS REGIME IS A DEMOCRACY. He he.

Pick N Click, tell me ONE Democracy that is more dangerous than ONE Dictatorship. I'm talking real life here, not poli sci theory.

Iran - AXIS OF EVIL - democracy

Cuba - just miles from the US - COMMUNIST (not really) DICTATORSHIP - contained for half a century by an embargo and limited by geographical position.

I'm sure I could do some more research work for you, but then, since time is money, I'd be effectively paying for your education:-) All joking aside, I understand your point Mondo, but the issue is possibilities. Think about this... if Iran were where Mexico is, would we allow that Democracy to exist, or would we have invaded by now so we'd be comfortable? Iran has evolved into a democracy over the past 24 years because the people willed it. It doesn't always take military action to create democracies. On the contrary, they usually form out of popular support for self-determination coupled with a revolutionary act from within.

Why, all the way of course! You heard the man -- you have a RESPONSIBILITY!

Hell, we may as well put that astronomical military budget to work, ehh!!! Why waste it on training all the time... war is the best training possible.

YES, YES And YES......

We should definitely start paying more attention to other country's problems... starting with N. Korea, then Saudi Arabia, etc., but I think we can get some more help, and troop power, through international diplomacy before stepping in.

What im amazed at more than anything else is the number of people who are Americans who are basically committing treachery because of their hatred of GW Bush....I despised Clinton but would never take a another county's side against him..

I don't seek full disclosure from private individuals making comments on a message board, but, what the hell: I am currently living and attending university in Sydney, Australia.

Otherwise, my family lives in Buenos Aires.

Now, let me ask? What does this have to do with anything? I can assure you that were I an American resident, citizen even, my views, barring any new evidence I might encounter that might change my mind, my views would be the same.
