LOL...what a typical CC slug fest...14 pages over "the chicken or the egg."

OK...here's a topic for the next debate:

"How many reindeer did Santa have?"

Seriously...a friend from Chicago who moved to the Florida Keys told me that she was tending bar in some dump down there, and the regulars were almost at each others throats over that question one day.

:p

Ok ZZz you know it all, always, everytime. je je..

If the egg didn't come before the chicken then somebody created the damm chicken.

Who created the chicken and why?

Quote from ZZZzzzzzzz:

Oh good. You were not making an argument based on logic, reason, or any supporting common sense that reasons to a conclusion. Your comments make a lot more sense now in that light.....

You were only making a statement, expressing your opinion, as it were.....

Fine then....

Oh, by the way, Bin Laden says he is right and George Bush is wrong.

That's how statements go....

We create the chicken. It's a label. It merely reflects a reality. That reality is not fixed, not between individual chickens, and not between chickens and birds that are very much like chickens. Consider how very different are the entities (all female): bison, moose, elk. Yet we can call all of them "cow".

In the north, we often call grouse "chickens".

The design of the chicken came before the design of the egg....

Which contractor built which first, doesn't matter to me, though, it is hard to imagine a lone egg surviving unfertilized on its own....

It's called evolution Zzz.

And that is why the egg came first.

I understand you have a theory....

But the design of that which laid the egg comes before the design of the egg....

You don't design an egg first, then design a hen and rooster around it....

Even if referring to "cows" or "chickens", they just didn't one day appear from thin air. They evolved from something else, a process that has been at work for millions of years..

You really think somebody designed all this eh?

Of course....

Show me any accident that is anywhere near this complex, yet ordered.....

What comes first, what is on the painting, or what is in the mind of a painter?
