What To Expect With A Trump Presidency

Trump is expected to shake up the establishment... A populous president. I'm sure he will tone down if elected since seeking 2nd term will be on his mind.

Might see a 2 sigma move if he wins Republican nomination.
 
There's been a good deal of discussion in DC over the past few months - especially the last few weeks - about what a Trump Presidency would mean.

The consensus from folks I talk to is that the country would immediately drop into a depression, followed by a significant and very rapid period of growth.

On arrival at the White House, Trump would be given briefings on the actual workings of key programs, agencies and initiatives underway throughout gov't and industry - where supported by gov't. It's widely believed that Trump would (rightfully) find a huge number of programs to be inefficient and/or wasteful and move to quickly terminate them.

This would cause large numbers of layoffs and shocks throughout the system. Over time, the ship would be righted but it would take some time. Overall the consensus is that Trump would be very good for the overall financial health of the country as a whole, but the pain of going from the bureaucratic morass that exists today to something efficient cannot be understated.
