What To Expect With A Trump Presidency

He is so full of hot air and bullshit. He is playing the patriotic card for all it's worth in an attempt to woo the white survivalist racists groups like the KKK. Well which politician in their right mind would want those bums anyway. The old fashioned conservatives have been dropped by this loud mouthed extremist.

And don't forget, he has small hands. And he doesn't own a winery, and Mexico is sending their rapists, and global warming is Chinese-made hoax, and he wants you to know other parts of him are "not" small either. And this guy is how close to being POTUS? Scary.

Forgive me if I don't base my political choices on what a few stock brokers from Palm Beach say, particularly since we all know they would commit genocide to get a slice of Trump's account.

There would be winners and losers under Trump, but a president is severely circumscribed in his ability to cut programs or employment. Congress calls the tune and the republicans have not exactly shown themselves to be anything but tools of corporate America.

Under Obama and Clinton the winners have been those who could play the crony capitalism game adroitly. So we get billions going to bogus solar power scams who just happen to be big Obama contributors, and we block imports of Canadian oil, so we can continue being dependent on countries like Venezuela and Saudi Arabia. If possible, Clinton is even more compromised ethically than Obama, so we can really expect to get a reaming to pay off her supporters. I fail to see how Trump is not an improvement over that.

The democrat party and their media allies are terrified that Trump will draw support from blue collar workers and unions, groups the democrats see as their property. We have traded solid middle class jobs for the ability to buy cheap tee shirts at Walmart. Not everyone sees that as a great deal, even if Mitt Romney and his CEO buddies disagree.

You did notice that you started out essentially saying not to worry because Congress runs the country and the President can't do much. Then went on to describe how everything you think is wrong in the world is the fault of the current President. Who was of a different party than the one that controlled Congress for most of his term. So which is it, powerful President so we worry about Trump or not powerful President and we shut up about Obama ruining the country?

1. The FED has controlled this economy for 20 - 30 something years. There was the Nasdaq bubble which created a problem for state revenues... So then they engineered and directed a real estate bubble and the FED did not allow the market to properly correct. Then we had real estate and bank asset sheet reinflation. destroying the real value of the dollar again. A major problem with this is there was not the creative destruction and rebuild the Drucker speaks of. We are sitting on a powder keg of corrupt big crony companies run by guys who have already bankrupted the world once.

I think we should be welcoming a long overdue correction. With the FED being ordered by Congress to be ready to cushion the impact by giving money to americans directly -- to pay off their mortgages, keep their homes or spend however they wish if necessary. This will be called crony/banker inflation reparations. It will be a reparation for the inflation and income taxes they have seen inflicted upon taxpayers and savers.

The longer the we wait to allow this correction to happen - the more cataclysmic this recession or worse will be. If we wait too long the fed might not even be able to inflate us off the bottom. So world war 3 will have to happen.

2. Who cares what the palm beach brokers or even money managers think... unless they know the guys who run the FED.

3. The guy or gal to most likely straighten this cronism out is not an establishment politician.

I think you are right-- Trump gets elected, the markets will sell off sharply for several weeks, maybe months, then roar back to new highs within the next 24 months----
Listen brother, Trumps tax plan + tariffs against Chindia + gutted regulations/fraud/abuse + cutting the size of the Federal Government + elimination of ISIS.

Buy American exporters. Buy USoil. Short US multinationals with a heavy overseas presence. Buy the S&P after the Trump 'correction'.

Boom. Done. Walk away. Watch what happens.

'What To Expect With A Trump Presidency'

Can I expect to be allowed to take a shit once or maybe twice a day? This is an issue that matters to me. Since this right is not clearly stated in the Constitution, I am always fearful it will taken away. If one more liberal ends up on the Supreme Court, this right could go away forever.

AAAinthebeltway really nails it.
There is no concern for us citizens...it is all about the D.C. bubble they all live in.
But, can't we, for one fleeting moment, dream that, just maybe, maybe, Trump has our back???
If not, time for rebellion. Something HAS to change.

Everything has its lifespan. Maybe reasonable moderate politics has a life span too as people get tired of the same old message. Opting for a wacko like Trump could be the indication of this boredom of the usual. Of course there will be winners and losers.

You call living by the skin of your ass...BOREDOM???
What politician do you sleep with at night???
It's jokers as you, who hold this country hostage.
