Yeah, the guy is brash and in your face-- but people seem to love him as he represents change and improvement for the United States. Letting a businessman (finally) run the nation, makes sense--right?
I recently spoke at a Family Office Investment conference in Palm Beach. I chaired a panel of asset managers and asked the question about a Trump presidency. Overwhelmingly, the managers feared for the stock market should Trump be elected. They expect a massive sell off due to the uncertainty of what to expect with him. They firmly believed that Clinton would be much better for the economy since we already know what to expect with her. This belief was across the board even with the Trump supporters.
Remember, the market hates uncertainty- Trump is uncertainty despite likely being positive for the long run.
