What is the average can a day trader manage and earn on wall street?

Ferdinand,

Short answer futures.

Long answer I trade multiple markets. I think you need to have an arsenal of weapons to survive so I have certain edges and look for them in as many markets as I can.

As I am based in Europe I trade mostly European stuff on Eurex. Bund, Bobl, FESX, Dax etc In the afternoons scalp CL, Gold and Silver.

But also run autospreaders in correlated markets, so dax versus FESX or oil calendars

Slow day, 1 BE, 4 profitable, no losers +$320 not bad for a casino gambler.

Here's to contrast your gambling with real trading. See if you can tell the difference ? 3 days and greater than 1000 closed out trades (long and short). It's my best ever published score.

But don't be all sour faced because I can give you some good news. I gambled not once, not twice, but thrice and nearly lost my shirt. My trading will offset the loss, but the month will be a loser overall. Even with one more week of the month to go, I am unlikely to fully make up the loss.

Where there is loss there is also gain. The loss reveals to me a holy grail that allows me to take very high probability gambling style manual trades. So far one break even and one sizeable win with it. But gambling style is too much stress and too much effort. So I won't use it unless as a last resort.

Stop being cyrptic and tell us how you trade then.

p.s. just because you class it as gambling, doesn't mean it's gambling, as soon as I start losing money I hit the stop switch and fix it, although I am down this week, but only 1 profitable trade so not sweating it, bad week in general! ( mid method development phase currently )

If your method is so great, why do you "gamble" the profits away?
Anyway, I'm having a great month thus far.

Maybe business was slow (not every day business is like selling hot cakes you know ? But fridays are often good), maybe it was destiny. Might as well ask why did I get the holy grail. I don't know, I was never looking for it. But it appeared when I analysed the losses.

Anyway, I'm having a great month thus far.

You have never demonstrated any trading ability. Can't say I know why you are having a great month.

The light won't appear until you know you are gambling. Looks to me there's a few more years worth of gambling coming your way.
