What is the average can a day trader manage and earn on wall street?

Day traders lose money, they don't make money. A better question would be: how much do day traders lose a day ?
One of the guaranteed money makers is to become a trader trainer. In that case you don't need to know how to trade but just be able to tell people if they use this candle, that moving average, and the other MACD, they will be onto a winner for sure.

Errr NO, most Day Traders are bad day traders so yes they lose, but there are good 1's who profit.
Which one is a good one then ?

I don't work for a firm which is what he is after.
Answer to his question is very few make the big bonuses and money, in london 40 to 50k is likely average, which is not great in London.
People like yourself should stop replying to threads since you have nothing to new to add.
There are still plenty of daytraders around that make a fairly consistent profit.
Traders that trades "the company's" money are not called day traders. They are called professional traders (e.g. institutional traders, hedge fund, investment bank, private investments for public company, pension plans, floor traders et cetera). In contrast, the phrase day traders is a term for "retail traders" that trades from home via their own capital...typically undercapitalized.
Professional traders are salary jobs, health & dental benefits, well capitalized, access to resources the typical home day trader doesn't have access too and pro traders usually get bonuses when they perform well.
I know a few institutional traders (friends and one family member) and the average salary amongst them is $125k per year with some job perks. For example, one in particular, his firm is paying for his high end condo that's near the office. How much profits they make their firm per year...don't know but its obviously good enough for their firms to give them a nice fat Christmas bonus. For example, one in particular got a 525k Christmas bonus plus a job promotion that took his salary job from 130k to 250k per year.
P.S. The average salaries (base) for professional trading firms (e.g. Knight Capital) are public records for most firms. You can easily Google the information if you know the names of the professional trading firms. Just be aware that most of those traders salaries are "much more" than those mentioned public known "based salaries". Thus, its rarely disclosed publicly the "extra benefits" that a performing professional trader is getting.
