What is that one thing that has been a game changer for you?

When I started out forex trading, I wanted to take advantage of almost everything that came my way. I thought the more indicators and tools I'll use, I can predict the markets more precisely but I was wrong.
Over the time, I have realised that a simple trading strategy, with just a few trading rules and minimum indicators tends to work more effectively than a complex strategy.

Critical thinking seeks to identify reliable information and make reliable judgements. It encompasses mindset and skills, both of which can be developed through an understanding of key concepts, practice and application.

1) Focusing trade vehicles on just S&P and Nasdaq. Makes trading discovery / sleeping far easier.
2) Trading small relative to account size and keeping cash on hand for when the market hands you money.
3) Letting others take the market downturns on any overnight positions by selling ITM option premium as part of my swing trading allocations. Settling for less profit with better odds for consistent profit.

Basically trading both sides of the market with cash to spare.
