What is happening to men?

I read somethin crazy, and it stuck with me because I am a bit "off." A theory that birth control pills are getting into the water supply and it is affecting all of us.

While I do listen to the wacky stuff, it is most likely just the effect of more inclusion of women in society, feminazation and it might get a lot worse for us. I see a lot of guys runnin around behind their fat loud woman noddin their heads at whatever crap the beasts are spewin lol. Sorry if that sounds bad, I just see it a lot these days. Good luck ridin a bike during the day.. Hell hath no furry like a 250 lb soccer mom in a suv who needs to get to starbucks "like now"

"Budding mathematician
In 1828, he attempted the entrance exam to École Polytechnique, without the usual preparation in mathematics, and failed for lack of explanations on the oral examination. In that same year, he entered the École préparatoire, a far inferior institution for mathematical studies at that time, where he found some professors sympathetic to him. In the following year, Galois' first paper, on continued fractions[3] was published. Cauchy, a highly eminent mathematician of the time considered Galois' work to be a likely winner.[4] On July 28, 1829, Galois' father committed suicide after a bitter political dispute with the village priest. A couple of days later, Galois took his second, and final attempt at entering the Polytechnique, and failed yet again. It is undisputed that Galois was more than qualified; however, accounts differ on why he failed. The legend holds that he thought the exercise proposed to him by the examiner to be of no interest, and, in exasperation, he threw the rag used to clean up chalk marks on the blackboard at the examiner's head.[5][6] More plausible accounts state that Galois made too many logical leaps and baffled the incompetent examiner, evoking irascible rage in Galois. The recent death of his father may have also influenced his behavior.[2]
Having been denied admission to the Polytechnique, Galois took the Baccalaureate examinations in order to enter the Ecole Normale. He passed, receiving his degree on December 29, 1829. His examiner in mathematics reported: "This pupil is sometimes obscure in expressing his ideas, but he is intelligent and shows a remarkable spirit of research."

So, a school actually PREVENTED a genius from academy and so he was forced to go to an inferior school until he could "dumb down" enough for those examining him to even understand his intelligence. Sounds about right. Academics do not focus on intelligence, only repetition of simplistic ideas. The many innovations made by academics are attributable to the law of large numbers. Eventually, enough intelligent people DO slip into universities and create something intelligent that the general public actually think the universities CAUSED the work to be created.

No wonder dumb females love going so much. First, they excel mindless chores that add no real value. Secondly, they are dumb enough to believe that going to university will trigger some kind of GENIUS BUTTON in their brains.....which never happens because of schooling.

Christ, I'm being called dumb by an idiot.

Double negative?

I admit there is value in poetry to waste time in a great way and a fun hobby when you are bored at the end of the day....but the value of poetry compared to in dime is not nearly as great as the value of time.

Look Galois would have probably become one of the greatest mathematicians that ever lived-right up there with Gauss. However, you are no Galois. In fact, I would bet money that you would have trouble understanding a math lecture at your state school.

Finally, name the richest man in the Roman Empire/Republic. Now name the greatest statesman (or just start naming statesmen), name some poets, and name some thinkers. Now do the same for Ancient Greece, and add mathematicians.

No matter how much money you attain, it will never help you answer the existential questions, and no one will care about you after you are dead.

Finally, the educational system is rigged so that people that want to learn can, but it does not encourage lazy asses to get anything out of College.

The existential questions cannot be answered. You can see it in everyday life that nobody believes them to be able to be answered. For example you have Men of God killing people. They wouldn't do that if they really believed in God. Or you have "pro-life" people killing people. Humans can be so illogical sometimes.

Whenever I think of conspiracies I listen and think WHY?
For example why would you want to manipulate the gold standard money supply and become the richest man alive if you are already the richest and become even richer.(rothschild). Then I figured it out, It's all a game. To that guy, making money is not his real reward, the game is his reward. Not the money, although it is factually his reward. Everything is a game. chasing money, chasing women, chasing thrills. Life is a game. Whenever people seem to undertake criminal behavoiour, it is a game to them. It's not supposely real but imaginery. We are all living the matrix and 1% of people know it, and 99% get suckered.

It just in our nature as humans to want more - that's what the ego is all about. Of course there are exceptions.

The average testosterone level in men has dropped about 100 points in the last 20 years or so. When under stress testosterone converts to estrogen. Most 59 year old men have more estrogen than 50 year old women.

This is actually very easy to fix but DRs are fixated on handing out prozac and lipitor like candy and rarely even address the issue.

If true, it is not surprising to me. We are constantly evolving as a species. Modern culture no longer needs a man that can run fast, or have hulking muscles, or be aggressive against opposing males that seek to rape our women. Instead, it needs computer programmers that sit in front of a computer trading or programming at least eight hours a day.

I think this is not solving anything. I don't think that mens problems are that their testosterone levels are too low for the same reason that maybe you think it is a problem. Men excel at logical aggressive thinking. The problem is that most boys can't sit still in classrooms for more than five minutes.

To me, this is probably the single most important question in all of modern sociology: How do we reward boys in a classroom to grow up to be men, and at the same time steer them towards leading happy lives in adulthood where their brains are far more important than their muscle.

It used to be that if boys screwed up in school, no big deal, just go work in the mine, or the textile company, or construction, etc. Today, boys are in grave danger because corporations want boys that are mostly girls with a penis, and frankly, I don't blame them because girls are waaaaaaay more adaptable to the current needs of corporations, imo.

I am sick of myself honestly. I am seriously thinking of begging a construction company to give me a job as a jack hammer operator even though I have never done it.

I want to be out in the sun working with my hands and body. Nothing looks as stupid to me as some guy with all these muscles that he got in a gym. I want muscles because I work in a farm, or I build roads or bridges or whatever. I want to be sweating like a pig during work, go to happy hour with my buds, have a really cold beer, come home to my wife and fuck her brains out.

I feel you. There is nothing as satisfying as ending your day and looking back over your shoulder to see tangible results. And feeling that you earned the sore muscles and sunburn. Trading is ok as a means to the end. But last weekend I took down a row of hedges with my sawzawl...then my neighbor came over with his john deer tractor and we pulled out 20 monster rootballs..then took all of them to the dump. That made me more fullfilled that the money I took out of GS puts last week by a mile.

Hike..farm a garden...romp with my kids...dig holes...DIY EVERYTHING! Thats what I try to do to keep my sanity after 14 years of this crap. My goal Sunday is to be so sore from yardwork or play that I am looking forward to sitting in that chair for a few days. Not too trade though...just to recoup.

Funny thing is I always trade better the first half of the week. :D
