Absolutely you would take pause. And you absolutely wouldn't blindly follow orders to kill anyone, even
@nooby_mcnoob moron that he is. But these guys getting hard-ons over taking their bump stocks to Washington to take down the 'gubmnt are talking about overthrowing our government with violence. That's serious stuff, when you stop and think about it. In general, they're mostly both incompetent and incapable of anything requiring an ounce of courage, so the scenario where a military response to them is necessary is so vanishingly small as to be beneath thinking about. So in reality, some combination of law enforcement is going to take them out when a couple of them just go mental as happens from time to time. But, if you took their wet dream to fruition as a thought experiment and thousands of them started killing Americans with their guns in order to take over, then it wouldn't really be a matter of "killing fellow Americans" so much as "killing criminals who were killing fellow Americans". And if they're not killing fellow Americans they aren't a threat, you just arrest them if they're doing something illegal or let them protest their hearts out if they aren't. It's an important point that these folks are talking about using deadly force to get their way. Anything else and who cares, it's a free country, protest all you like. So your question is more like does it give pause to a police officer to fire on someone who is using deadly force on those around him, does he just blindly follow orders? No, he doesn't blindly follow orders, yes it does give him pause. Hopefully in most cases he protects people using the minimum amount of force he safely can and is probably mentally scarred for life after doing so (the few bad cops excepted).
In short, unlike the rubes like our friend
@nooby_mcnoob we have actually all thought long and hard about this. And know something about it. Which is why we're not terribly worried about the tough guy in his mom's basement mouthing off about his defense of liberty and all that.
