Wasn't Obama Supposed to Usher in Post Racial America?

I can't say exactly how much if any "extra" racism was added, "feels" like some, but in my life I have seen the same thing more than once: every time there's a downturn many in the public turn on immigrants, "blacks", and sinners.

However much it was, it was more vocal, more bold. And it turned pretty much on a dime, right around the time Obama became president, which must have been a bitter pill for the master race to swallow. And then, stuck with him, they made it their life's work to "prove" that everything Obama did was exactly the wrong thing at the wrong time. Obama has been more disrespected than perhaps any other president.

As for the rest of it, sure, there's always scapegoating during an economic downturn, especially a pronounced one. But this one had a kick start from the get-go.

Well the long recovery was Obama's fault. The anti-police rhetoric is Obama's fault also. In fact he was the guy who got the ball rolling.

Obama has the luxury of being the first black President, so the historians at universities will kiss his ass, however, when you look at real achievements and accomplishments, they are few and far between. This whole idea pushed by the left that Obama was going to usher in post-racial america has been a disaster. Most things Obama has touched have been complete disasters. The worst part of all, I think Obama may have orchestrated them to be disasters from the get-go.

Are you claiming Obama wasn't a complete disaster? Even according to Hillary and Bernie, the country is a complete mess. Who was President for the last 8 years? Why hasnt Obama done anything to address the issues Bernie and Hillary are bringing up?

Hillary's speech when Bernie endorsed her was a total joke. She is screeching about all the unfairness. Who exactly did Goldman pay a quarter million bucks to for a 20 minute chat? Someone who just looked like her? How did she and Bill go from dead broke, her term, to being worth 200 mill or so? No conflicts there, no sir.

She has a lot of goofy ideas to turn around the country and lift people out of poverty. Why in the world did she keep them a secret for 7 1/2 years? Did she just secretly want Obama to fail? She must think he has done a really poor job, since she now is complaining endlessly about all the problems. It's getting a bit late to lay them all on George Bush.
