Wasn't Obama Supposed to Usher in Post Racial America?

because he is black. Black is wrong by default...according to @wildchild

When Obama was elected a lot of outraged racists came out of the woodwork to have their delicate voices heard. Extending a hand to some of them was akin to putting it into a buzz saw. You can get a fair sampling right here at ET. No matter what he does, it's wrong: either too much or not enough, and sometimes both at the same time.

During the 2008 election, all you heard from the Main Stream Media(aka the propaganda arm of the Democrat party) was how much this Obama was going to improve race relations and usher in post racial America.
Because people didn't realize how deep the recession was going to go, and how weak and how long the recovery was going to be.

That's only part of it. The racists came out of the woodwork in full force the moment he was elected, and started acting like classroom idiots with a substitute teacher. There is no bridging of that divide until these guys are naturally deselected out of existence.

I can't say exactly how much if any "extra" racism was added, "feels" like some, but in my life I have seen the same thing more than once: every time there's a downturn many in the public turn on immigrants, "blacks", and sinners.
