The best way to understand the statistics of your personal experiences with Covid within your community is to compare the numbers to the statistics of your local hospital instead of with what's occurring anywhere else in the world.

Just as important, people have a bad habit of comparing "Infections" instead of comparing "Hospitalizations" and the length of stay for the hospitalization or death...thanks to the media focusing too much on "Infections".
Simply, it's an enormous mistake in the analysis of any Infectious Disease to only compare for example...I know of 2 people who had Alpha and later got Omicron but I personally know of over 30 people who are vaccinated and later got Alpha, Delta or Omicron.
