Vaccinated people getting covid is quite common.Getting covid twice is not.

It's not that common though. I think breakthrough for alpha was non existent. Delta a bit higher but also nil w/booster, omicron, yeah that shit's everywhere.

Granted, alpha was already on it's way out when the vaxxes were released so I can see some delta instances getting mixed up w/alpha. I didn't even know we were tracking variants pre-delta to make that determination ( I suspect you inferred from timing).

Actually getting Covid twice is much more statistically likely -- when accounting for the portion of the population vaccinated and unvaccinated (who had a medically proven prior case). This is demonstrated in multiple mainstream large-scale studies I have posted. A CDC study shows that unvaccinated people are twice as likely to be reinfected.

95% of NFL players are vaccinated but so many still got covid the league just started letting them play with it.

NBA and Hockey are also nearly all vaccinated but still had a ton of players who got it.

I believe more what I see than these studies.
