But you may see a problem with the idea of civility. It is no about right/wrong or finding truth with guys like GWB, Treefrog, FHL, Jem etc.
It is unfair of you to characterize the above posters as not interested about right/wrong or finding truth. Your use of “etc.”, implies every other poster on the Right side is the same way.
They are after an emotional release.
Certaintly some are at least some of the time, as are the posters that promote the Left ideology.

This point is another unfair characterization. It is overly broad and other than some isolated posts, you can’t support this kind of statement. How would you know what has happened to them throughout their lives?
As I mentioned to you before, when you are focused, your posts can bring up points that no one else has considered. When you are not focused, whether it is because you are tired, distracted, or frustrated, your post quality suffers and could be considered “emotional release quality”.
GWB will try and play both sides very often after he gets rounded on for being a dick. That is his coping strategy, try and act peacemaker.
Sounds like you are talking about me. I am not married to a party or to a “mainline” ideology. For example, I recognize global warming but am pro 2nd amendment. I like Bill Clinton and Trump, but not Bush and Obama. I am against crony capitialism but pro tax cuts. Even though I am pro Trump, I have no problem in calling out my issues with unqualified judges, net neutrality, and not managing trade agreements very effectively.
The primary thing that guides me is the underlying foundation of an issue, rather than an overall narrative a particular side has been working for a long time. It is evident to me that many on both sides are intellectually lazy and will let “trusted sources” do their thinking for them.
Although most will view me with suspicion, I never have to worry about being labelled as a “good Democrat” or a “good Republican”. Such a label would really piss me off.

Are you inadvertently and indirectly supporting GWB’s ANTIFA violence claims? There are several on the Left who could be considered as non-traders. My concern is that several of the Left side posters are non-patriots. The have an anti-American agenda and the only way for them to have an effective voice is to be able to suppress meaningful dialogue between sides. Hence my proposal on forum conduct.
