tws paper error messagge "commodity segment does not exist"

I have not experienced that error message. However, I believe that it relates to the account setup. An IB account has an "securities segment" and a "commodity segment". You may want to verify that your paper trading account is correctly set up to trade futures.
 
I have the same problem since account migration for IBIE.

I have contacted support two days ago and they didn't even replied up to this moment.

Also, it's not possible to make currency conversions in real account.

they told me this is a known problem and they try to solve it.

I have the same problem on my new paper account. My old paper account was not migrated, so I had to create a new one and this error appears when I wanted to buy futures.

I had to create a new paper account as well.

I have just tested and it is still not working.

No replies from IB...
 
Some more information, to avoid people to be taken by surprise:

I had to reconfigure some of my trading permissions and also my customized statements and its delivery method.

FX Conversion still not working...
