Trump's approval rating just dropped to a new low in his favorite pol

False.Bush taking a 100-200 billion budget surplus to a 1.2 trillion dollar deficit is bigger than Obama taking Bushs 1.2 trillion dollar deficit to 1.4 trillion.

Bush came into office with a budget surplus and left with a 1.2 trillion dollar deficit.Obama came into office with a 1.2 trillion dollar deficit and left with a 585 billion dollar deficit.

The final resolution of the 2009 budget was written by the democrat controlled 110th congress and signed into law by Obama on March 11, 2009. That $1.4 trillion is Obamas baby...not Bush's and not the republicans.

The 2009 budget was submitted by Bush in Feb 2008.The 2009 budget is submitted in Feb and starts in Oct 2008,before Obama was even elected.

The United States federal budget for fiscal year 2009 began as a spending request submitted by President George W. Bush to the 110th Congress. The final resolution written and submitted by the 110th Congress to be forwarded to the President was approved by the House on June 5, 2008

Before Obama was sworn into office The CBO showed the deficit for 2009 would be 1.2 trillion.

It’s true that Obama “inherited the biggest deficit in our history,” as he said on CBS. By the time Obama took office in January 2009, the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office had already estimated that increased spending and decreased revenues would result in a $1.2 trillion deficit for fiscal year 2009, which began Oct. 1, 2008. In a detailed analysis of fiscal year 2009, we found that Obama was responsible for adding at most $203 billion to the deficit, which in the end topped $1.4 trillion that year.

"The CBO released a projection in January 2009 that the deficit would reach $1.2 trillion in 2009, before the costs for any new economic stimulus plans or new legislation were factored in."

"Obama was essentially correct when he said he inherited a budget deficit of $1.3 trillion. Though the budget deficit for 2008 was a then-record $458.6 billion, the CBO issued a projection in January 2009, just days before Obama took office that the budget deficit would reach $1.2 trillion that year, before the cost of any new stimulus plan or other legislation was taken into account."

Paying for Bushs wars,Bushs economic collapse,Bushs tax cuts and Bushs unpaid for medicare expansion. When you come into office with a 1.2 trillion dollar deficit that will add a lot of debt

How bout that little trillion dollar stimulus program that created three government jobs somewhere in the country?

A trillion here and a trillion there and pretty soon it adds up.

Obama's stimulus (which cost 800 billion) was less than Bushs last budget deficit. The stimulus was a result of Bush's economy. If Obama had come into office with the same economy Obama left Trump there would have been no need for the stimulus.

A trillion here and a trillion there and pretty soon it adds up.

First, 40% of that was tax cuts, another 40% went to Medicaid and Unemployment benefits, only 20% was earmarked for projects.

Second, that's the only big ticket spending Obama did and it was temporary, let us know of the 'trillion here there' that caused the debt to increase? Deficits fell under Obama every year and all of his programs were paid for by tax increases (see Obamacare).

Stop making stuff up.

Doesn't matter that Bush requested it. Democrats had the final say and Obama signed it. It's Obama's baby. Obama and the democrats could simply have said "No way are we going to spend that much"

I have a story for you...there was this kid who asked his parents to buy him this $50k car for his 18th birthday. The parents knew it was more than they could afford, but they broke out the credit cards and got a loan and bought it for him anyway. It was a pretty big burden for them.

Now who bought the car, the kid or the parents? Because according to the logic you just posted, you think the kid bought it. Am I right?

Nonsense

Jan 7, 2009 - The U.S. budget deficit in 2009 is projected to spike to a record $1.2 trillion, or 8.3% of gross domestic product, the Congressional Budget Office .

money.cnn.com/2009/01/07/news/economy/cbo_2009_budget_outlook/

So it's Obama's baby even though the deficit was going to hit 1.2 trillion regardless of who was President and mostly because of crashing tax receipts, mandatory spending increases and the bailout led by Bush's Treasury?

LOL
