Yeah, he had lots of things to do, like close Guantanamo and run up the highest deficit in the history of the world. The first 15 months Obama was in office, his deficit was higher than every single year of Bush's COMBINED.

False.Bush taking a 100-200 billion budget surplus to a 1.2 trillion dollar deficit is bigger than Obama taking Bushs 1.2 trillion dollar deficit to 1.4 trillion.
Bush came into office with a budget surplus and left with a 1.2 trillion dollar deficit.Obama came into office with a 1.2 trillion dollar deficit and left with a 585 billion dollar deficit.

Obama increased the debt by 9.5 trillion. He held the deficit down by putting everything on to the credit card for someone else to deal with.

The truth doesn't register with some people. This site was peppered with Depression threads in 2009. The same people reject personal tax increases which is the only solid way to reduce your debt. Cutting spending seems more limited unless you lose your obsession with military in a major way.
