President Donald Trump's approval rating dipped to a new low on Monday in the latest Rasmussen poll, the survey that is often most favorable to Trump.

Rasmussen found that just 39% of likely US voters approved of the job Trump is doing, while 61% disapproved of the president.

It was the first time Trump dipped below 40% in the Rasmussen presidential tracking poll.

As recently as mid-June, Rasmussen had Trump's approval rating at 50% — far above where other polls found Trump's approval rating to be.

Rasmussen interviewed 1,500 likely voters over three days, with a margin of error of 2.5 percentage points.

Eric Trump: ‘The People Of This Country Love My Father’

“My father has the voice of this country.”

By Rebecca Shapiro

Eric Trump joined Sean Hannity on the Fox News host’s Monday night program and lamented Republicans who “do not fight” for his father, especially considering President Donald Trump’s immense popularity.

“I want somebody to start fighting for him,” Trump said of the president. “How much weight does he have to carry by himself? My father has the voice of this country. The people of this country love him. Why wouldn’t [Republicans] get in line?

Last month, polls showed that President Trump’s approval ratings were at historic lows nearly six months into office.

A Washington Post/ABC News poll found that only 36 percent of Americans approve of Trump’s job performance as president. A Bloomberg poll found that Trump had a 40 percent approval rating.

Compared with past presidents, Trump’s approval rating was the lowest six-month approval rating dating back 70 years. President Barack Obama had a 59 percent approval rating six months into his first term.

"Former President Obama, by comparison, was viewed favorably by 61% of respondents, according to the poll."

Awesome. Stay with that dnc rap. The strategy in 2016 was to remind people that although they hated Hillary and other dem candidates that Obama was popular. Howd that work out? That seems to be your plan for 2020 too, and I am all for it.

Extra potato for you.

I notice that Bush 41, Regan, and Eisenhower had higher favorability ratings at this stage than Obama did. Not sure what that has to do with anything but since your referenced Obama when I referred to Hillary showed that you are lost in space it might be important to your superiors out on the Mothership.

Was this foreshadowing his approval ratings?

Remember when Bush was pelted with eggs? Then look at how his reigned had ended up.

Obama? Yuge turnout! Ended up: #BetterThanReagan

didn't they prove that to be fake news... what time was that picture?
