The Pope, a leader of one of the most criminally and morally corrupt organizations on the planet, is in no position to be judging anyone, or anything. We all know the story of the pedo priests that still prey on children. We all know of the corruption in the Vatican Bank and the billions of dollars horded for who knows what. We all know of the hateful and vengeful God they preach to their flock, thereby screwing up the minds of hundreds of millions of people. Hey Pope, clean up your own house. It's a fucking mess.

Some time back I posted research that indicates pedophilia occurs at a lower rate among the clergy than it does in the general population. Of course it's more shocking when discovered among the former.
Now that the Pope has weighed in on American politics, it will be interesting to see which one of the 2016 Presidential Candidates he finally endorses and why. Will he imply it is sinful to vote for somebody other than His endorsed candidate?

The pope weighed in on behavior and conduct. You equate that to politics. Much as I dislike religions of every stripe, this pope has gained the respect of the civilized world. Which perhaps explains the antipathy towards him by some of the people here.

Hey man, I'm for a libertarian open border. Has nothing to do with refugees. Has to do with using the most powerful bully pulpit in the world and attacking a candidate who can barely stay above 30% and thereby attacking all of us that are enjoying a candidate who is setting the agenda based on FOX tv shows and totally bypassing MSM. First we heard how Trump is not Conservative, now it is he is not Christian, like that is some kind of litmus test for POTUS. What about Bernie Sanders? Is he Christian?
Laugh if you want, Trump gets people talking, and that is vey dangerous to the other side who wants people listening.
