baloney. I do prefer Trump over everyone who was in the running but Cruz and Paul...
Many times I have said I prefer Cruz to Trump. Partially because I do not know how conservative he really is. Who would he appoint to the Sup. Ct.
You may find my one quote where I said I would pick Trump to be the nominee over Cruz because I think he might pound the establishment more.
And I will be happy to vote for Trump... from what I can tell so far.
But, that has not bearing on this.
I thought it was ridiculous for the Pope to say that. He is essentially saying that about anyone who believes in nations protecting their own borders.
And it is highly ludicrous considering I have seen the wall at the Vatican myself. I have also seen guards and entrance controls and people protecting the museum. I have also seen what a nutbag / terrorist did to the Pieta when they left it unprotected. I note after confining Lazlo Toth to a mental hospital the he authorities then deported him.
So this Pope needs to think about what he said.

What has happened here, I think, is that the election and reelection of Barrack Obama has shown the world that the population of the United States is so impenetrably stupid and so susceptible to media influence that many self-important and some actually-important foreign figures are emboldened to try their hand at influencing American politics.
A secondary causation is the deep visceral fear the left has of Trump, similar in many ways to the rabid pronouncements against Ronald Reagan when he was running.
